This last episode of the RECORD campaign focused on the difficulties that minorities must face to enter the media system in Italy.

The RECORD project is realized by Amisnet with the collaboration of the NGO Cospe and Civil Radio of Budapest. It aims to stress all the difficulties that citizens of the new Europe must face in their daily struggle for equal rights and opportunities.

Lord K-Buya is bezieler van de CD Mixture: Black 2 White. Het is een urban plaat met hiphop, soul, r'n'b en flarden salsa. Hij werkte voor het project samen met jong talent van gans België, en met mensen van diverse afkomsten. Vandaar ook de naam "Black 2 White"; het was de bedoeling aan te tonen dat ook een multiculturele crew van jonge mensen in staat zijn om mooie muziek te maken. Wie is er te horen op de CD? Lord K-Buya zelf natuurlijk, maar ook Gio, Haider, Abdelhafid, Nydan, 8 Blaze, KMDS, Illa, Riddla Colt, Mack Celio, Youneeq, Kenza, Caddy, J-rry, Karach, Ymiro, Don Kroko en Sammy Boy. Tussen het interview door krijg een voorproefje van wat er zoal op de CD staat.

For centuries Central Asia has witnessed a constant flow of people across its vast territory; for many, this region is well-known as part of the Silk Road, the ancient trade route that linked China with the Roman Empire.  Today’s “caravans” of migrants along the Silk Road are mostly labourers traveling from poorer to wealthier areas in search of work.    To mark International Migrants’ Day, the UNESCO Almaty Cluster office for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan would like to share a musical composition that has its origins in this storied land.
